They are very common and totally harmless. They are usually round or oval, can be brown, black, tan, pink or white, can look scaly or waxy and can be raised above the skin. They appear on the face, torso, legs and arms.

Advanced electrolysis is a highly effective, fuss free and affordable method of removing skin seborrheic keratosis without scarring.

This method uses a short wave diathermy current and a tiny probe to gently lift the seborrheic keratosis away from the skin. The area will form a scab that is naturally sloughed off as the skin heals. Many SK’s can be removed in one treatment session.

During a full consultation prior to treatment we will discuss the suitability of this treatment and assess your seborrheic keratosis blemishes to ensure they are safe to remove and decide a treatment plan. A full medical questionnaire will ensure there are no reasons why the treatment cannot go ahead. Your safety comes first.

You will be given full and thorough aftercare advice to allow full skin healing prior to your treatment and at the time or treatment.

Immediately after treatment the area of removal will be red and irritated and maybe slightly sensitive, scabs maybe present. The area will be fully healed within 14 days.
