Broken Capillary Removal & Spider Naevi Removal
Using advanced electrolysis techniques broken capillaries and spider naevi can be removed safely and effectively.
The tiny probe and short wave diathermy current is applied to the small, red wavy line that makes up the dilated capillary. This will heat up the vessel and coagulate the blood supply and so dry up the broken capillary.
Large clusters of broken capillaries can be treated in one 30 minute treatment.
Spider Naevi have a blood spot in the centre and broken capillaries around it making it look spider like. The blood spot and dilated capillaries are treated individually.
Small crusts form along the treated capillary and the vessels disappear gradually over 3-6 weeks.
During a full consultation prior to treatment we will discuss the suitability of this treatment and assess your broken capillaries to ensure they are safe to remove and decide a treatment plan. A full medical questionnaire will ensure there are no reasons why the treatment cannot go ahead. Your safety comes first.
You will be given full and thorough aftercare advice to allow full skin healing prior to your treatment and at the time or treatment.
Immediately after treatment the area of removal will be red and irritated and maybe slightly sensitive, scabs maybe present. The area will be fully healed within 14 days.
