Cherry Angioma
Advanced electrolysis techniques removes these large dilated capillaries that resemble small red dots, either engorged with blood or flat to the skin very effectively.
The tiny probe and short wave diathermy current is applied to the cherry angioma. This will heat up the vessel and coagulate the blood supply and so dry up the blemish.
A crust will form and the blood spot will disappear once this is naturally sloughed off.
During a full consultation prior to treatment we will discuss the suitability of this treatment and assess your cherry angioma to ensure they are safe to remove and decide a treatment plan. A full medical questionnaire will ensure there are no reasons why the treatment cannot go ahead. Your safety comes first.
You will be given full and thorough aftercare advice to allow full skin healing prior to your treatment and at the time or treatment.
Immediately after treatment the area of removal will be red and irritated and maybe slightly sensitive, scabs maybe present. The area will be fully healed within 14 days.
